About Wuffalo
Wuffalo was created to help dogs and owners navigate everyday life with more confidence, trust and understanding.
Founded in County Durham by Evie Hole-Todd, Wuffalo brings together professional dog walking, specialist behaviour support, real-world training and enriching experiences, all built around a deeper understanding of the dog in front of us.
Where It All Began
Wuffalo was founded in 2024 by Evie Hole-Todd with a simple belief: dogs deserve to be understood as individuals.
What began with professional dog walking has grown into a team of five dog walkers, a specialist behaviour and training specialist, plus our very own secure dog field, Wuffalo Park.
But while Wuffalo has grown, the purpose behind it has stayed the same: to help dogs live balanced, fulfilling lives through real-world training, education and experiences, while providing a safe and honest environment for both dogs and their owners.
Today, Wuffalo supports dogs of all breeds, ages and backgrounds across County Durham. From puppies taking their first steps into the world and dogs enjoying weekly social walks, to owners looking for support with reactivity, aggression or everyday behaviour.
Evie's Story
For Evie, understanding dogs goes far beyond teaching obedience or trying to change the behaviour we can see.
Her approach looks at the whole dog. Their natural instincts, experiences, environment and emotional state, to understand what may really be happening beneath the surface.
By stripping things back, Evie helps owners understand not just what their dog is doing, but why.
As one of only seven Impackt Accredited Behaviourists in the UK, Evie specialises in canine behaviour, including reactivity and aggression. Her approach is practical, honest and individual, because every dog, owner and situation is different.

Founder & Dog Behavioural Specialist
I'm Evie, the founder of Wuffalo and an IMPACKT Accredited Behaviourist, specialising in aggression, reactivity, puppy development and scent detection. I'm passionate about helping dogs and their owners build confident, positive relationships through kind, evidence-based training. Whether I'm supporting a complex behaviour case, teaching a puppy class or leading the Wuffalo team, my goal is always the same: helping every dog live their happiest, most fulfilled life.

I'm the oldest member of the Wuffalo team and have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. After a career as a headteacher, I now spend my days doing what I love most... caring for dogs. I know just how much they enrich our lives, and I feel incredibly privileged to spend my time looking after your four-legged family members.

Originally from Canada, I've lived in North Yorkshire for many years and recently joined the Wuffalo team after a career in education. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I've owned and cared for a wide range of breeds over the years. I love being outdoors, have recently completed my Dog First Aid certification, and enjoy making every walk fun, safe and rewarding.

I've grown up with dogs all my life and now have three of my own, including a Labrador, a Labrador × Dutch Shepherd and a German Shepherd. Living with dogs every day has given me plenty of hands-on experience, and I'm passionate about making sure every dog feels safe, happy and enjoys every adventure. I love building trust and getting to know each dog's unique personality.
